We celebrated my little brothers birthday a couple of days ago. This is him and his GF.
Bath Time, 2012
I just got back from my first lighting critique. One of the more painful crits of my university career. It was one of those where the instructor asks the class “what do you guys think?” and then silence, for a loooooong time. The assignment was to shoot a piece of paper with one constant light source.
We were in the studio shooting cubes, cos you gotta start somewhere
been editing for the better part of the afternoon
The first Lighting assignment is to light and photograph a piece of white paper. This is my studio today

Well! the semester is about to start…time to get back in the groove of things
So it’s been said that Salvador Dali would come up with his surrealist images by painting what his mind would come up with before he fell asleep. How? He would hold a spoon in his hand above a plate and the moment he would fall asleep the spoon would fall and the sound would wake him up leaving the pure dream like image in his head. This really interested me this summer and I decided to try it. BEHOLD! The product of one of my dream images. I kinda wanna do a series over this method, but in the mean time, I invite you to try it it’s pretty cool.
What happens when I wanna avoid doing actual work and there’s photo equipment lying around? I’m glad you asked…I have a self portrait photo shoot!
